Beth, I am glad to hear of your successes with yoga. I have noticed over time my breathing has become easier, less labored and deeper, and that I am a more calm and reasonable person.

Congratulations for your successes. I look forward to hearing more from you.

For many years I practiced Hatha Yoga. When I was younger, I had very bad stomach ailments, just short of ulcers.

Doing one particular Hatha Yoga exercise whereby I lay on my stomach, dug clenched fists into the carpet and raised my legs worked miracles.

I was able to strengthen the stomach to such an extent that all digestive problems disappeared, and I was able to forgo any more stomach medications. The ailment never returned.

The wisdom of Hatha Yoga is profound. I will always owe that particular Asana a great debt.
